Mike Dunn
While I know this is not a document, I did not see a general paper thread for WWII German items. Was wondering if anyone knew what this was for--a stock or bond by chance? Thanks in advance, Mike

Guest Rick Research
If you zoom in on just the text, so it is readable, may have a fuller explanation. It appears to be some sort of promissory note from Julius Streicher's "V?lkische Beobachter." Guest Rick Research
Ahhh. Little ordinary Aryans bought up small chunks of the cost of buying out the OLD pre-Nazi newspaper in order to pay for it. They would get their investment back depending on when they put in these micro-payments based on notices in Streicher's paper telling them to put in their claims based on series and serial numbers of these, as the debt was retired and published. If buy-back claims weren't received within 3 months of the pay off notice publication, Streicher didn't have to cough up the cash. Mike Dunn
Thanks Rick, Glad to see the old eyes are still sharp! Sure seems like a small about to help pay for a paper. Things were different then I guess.. Mike
