    Hi!

Two of mine, one with the rare 1866-non-combattant-cross, the other with the "normal" one.

    Hope you like them, too!

    regards

    Gentlemen,

I have posted this one before, but it seems appropriate to bring it up again here. This is one which was kindly identified by Prof. Lundstr?m as having belonged to Otto von Strahl, Adjutant, Royal Hoffmeister, Kammerherr, and Hoffmarshall to HRH the Landgraf von Hessen und bei Rhine.

    - Order of the crown (Kronenorden)

    - Commemorative Medal for the Franco-Prussian War 1870/71, non combatants (Kriegsdenkmünze 1870/71 Nichtkämpfer)

David , it is for 2 decorations. In Schaumburg-Lippe some awards / orders had the same ribbon colours (as in most other states and duchies too...) - in this case here there are some possible combinations and we will never know for shure...

I'm really deep impressed. Specially about the mecklenburgian bars. It's should be not so difficult to identify the former wearer.

Unfortunately I'm at the moment not at home and have no possibilitys to search in my list.

... Here is my not only one, but my most beautyful one...

That one is quite cute

I´ve got only a few, for instance that typical bavarien one. To wear with or without medals, unfortunately I purchased it without. Even if the ribbons are glued, it looks origin.

    Regards, Komtur.
