Infanterie-Division in "Deutschlands Schirm und Wehr im alten und im neuen Heer" still shows R.I.R. 227 as still being under command on 21 March 1918. According to Hartwig Busche - in "Formationsgeschichte der deutschen Infanterie", the regiment was disbanded on 10 Sep 1918.
