Hello again with another one of the Jäger und Schützenfraktion.... ;)

Who has informations about Oberst Graf Finck von Finckenstein for the years 1914 +++++ ? What did he in the great war , orders , regiments , death ???

I know there are some guys out there with the same name and the same rank in 1914 - I am talking about the one who was commander of Kaiser Alexander Garde Grenadier Regiment Nr.1 in 1914

Rest of his life he was in Jäger Bataillon 7 , Garde Jäger Bataillon and Garde Schützen Bataillon......... but what did he during ww1???

Hello, the last pic shows a Field Officer of the Garde Jaeger . The uniform appears to be a Kunftige Friedensuniform , and the transversal stripes under the Shoulderboards denotes a retired officer,

Matty,

it is a pre-war photograph of Konrad Graf Finck von Finckenstein, commanding the Garde-Jäger-Bataillon. The award above the Johanniter is the 1906 Kaiser's Erinnerungszeichen zur silbernen Hochzeit (silver wedding jubilee badge).

Regards

Glenn
