    Hi Guys

As part of a sub collection I'm thinking of starting ( dogtags of the world) I have just picked up 3 US dog tags- 2 Army- 1 Marine- I believe that they're Vietnam era( could be wrong probably am)

How do I decipher the info on them ? Can I get records for them?

the info on them is a follows. I understand the basics ie blood grp etc - its the service numbers I don't understand ie when issued etc

I'm keen on dog tags myself at this time. Vietnam dog tags (er...their owners) are very easy to research, though sadly moreso if they've passed on as you can find their SSN on SSDI searches.

Should be able to just send in the SNs though for research as the Vietnam records didn't suffer from the Great Burn...

Anyone got any leads on tags?...
