rujab Posted February 14, 2011 Author Share Posted February 14, 2011 Kriegerehrenzeichen in Eisen(verliehen 1917) Großherzog Ernst Ludwig stiftete dieses Ehrenzeichen am 13.März 1917, dem Tage seines 25jährigen Regierungsjubiläum,gemäß dem Wortlaut der Stiftungsurkunde als erneutes aüßeres Zeichen seiner Anerkennung für die ruhmvollen Kriegstaten seiner Hessen.Er war bestimmt für besondere Tapferkeit und dauernde Bestätigung hessischer Staatsangehöriger in den vordersten Kampflinien. Den hat man erst bekommen wenn man schon die Hessische Tapferkeitsmedaille und das EK 2 schon hatte.Daher der Name BLUTIGER LUDWIG. Wer den hatte der war TAPFER my English is too bad.
