Naxos
Dein Onkel Hugo Dear Hans. I send you heartfelt Greetings from Flanders. I'm here with some Landsturm men, I went on patrol with in a village near Menen. An Unteroffizier took the picture. Your uncle Hugo Menen or Menin, a town in Flanders was located only a few kilometers behind the frontline. In 1917, the inhabitants had to evacuate the town, which was severely damaged during the fighting. Edited February 18, 2011 by Naxos
