British War Medal 1939 - 1945. with Mention in Dispatches Oak-leaf device. 4. India Service Medal.* * awarded to officers and men of the Indian Armed Forces for 3 years non-operational service in India, in effect, it took the place of the British Defence Medal in respect of Indian Forces.
