Eric Stahlhut Posted September 29, 2011 Author Share Posted September 29, 2011 thanks alex, i agree. hiya don, that was my first impression as well, but i guess these were actually stamped out. the obverse image is poor (couldn't find my tripod) and the lines on the back 6-9 o'clock) that make the badge look cast are in fact merely paint remainders. there are shear marks on the edges of the badge. i guess they made these out of pure iron, as they are highly magnetic. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
