The picture of him was made by me during a five-day-visit at his home near Nimes in 2007. You can find it several times used in the internet. aubagne98 Posted January 22, 2012 Author Share Posted January 22, 2012 (edited) Here anther interesting peace. A Captain´s kepi of the 1. REC, a former legionnaire, who became officer. Watch the chevrons, you can see, that this kepi was a former 1st Lt. and was upgrated to a captain. The lowest chevron is brighter silver and the right vertical, too.
