SteveL
Gentlemen...I show one of three tunics obtained direct from a Bundeswehr veteran, a career soldier who followed his father, a WW2 vet, into BW service in 1968....as a young leutnant, retiring in 1992 as an Oberstleutnant, he served in the Panzer arm. I have obtained three of his tunics, and his fathers 59' dated Panzer combination, here is his "Gesellschaftsanzug mit Fangschnur". This jacket is more commonly known as the "Zweitschenrock" (Two pocket tunic), authorised for wear in 1963 and was replaced by the black dinner jacket dress in 1973. It is ranked "Hauptmann" and bears a handstiched armshield of "Panzerbrigade 8" which is based at Luneburg. This tunic came with matching Anthracite trousers. .http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_04_2012/post-7645-0-91963300-1333494104.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_04_2012/post-7645-0-94253700-1333494125.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_04_2012/post-7645-0-87081200-1333494155.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_04_2012/post-7645-0-02057600-1333494187.jpg Edited April 3, 2012 by SteveL
