It is identified by the seller as a MVD badge of the "Office against organised drug traficking". I have yet to find ANY documentation on this item and strongly believe it to be (strongly hope it to be) an unadopted prototype. Still... Yikes! Too close. Actually there is a probability (pretty low ) that this was an honest mistake of the amateur seller. If they're like other Russian governmental web sites though, they tend to be VERY slow at upgrades. EMERCOM is 4 years behind the ball right now, the Defence Ministry made a new site 3 years after the last changes had taken effect, then didn't give a link from the old to the new... The list goes on and on... Even the main federal ODM site... FAPSI took care of the old one from 1999 to 2003 when they were sucked back into the FSB, nobody upgraded it until the new site in 2010, and 7 months later they bothered to put a link to the new one from the old one... Its usually a pain because even if you do stumble onto an ODM page, you can rarely be 100% sure its the one being presently used. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If it comes to that these (schmucks ? ) don't have "official" medals at all!!! As we both know RF has only 21 "official" (state) medal All others (no less than 23 000 medals ) are just shiny nicknacks... The fact that these shiny nicknacks issued by state ministries doesn't change a thing, since the very same ministries will sell them to you with blank documents and sometimes (for the special price of course ) with filled ones ...
