Dave Danner Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 I am having a bit of trouble making out this name. I have Hermann _____ and that he was an Ökonomierat in Sternberg. It looks like maybe "Gremsl", but that sounds odd to me.
Poulton Palmer Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Dave, Gremsl is german/austrian name that sounds perfect to me (and exists). In combination with Sternberg, maybe less logical? Maybe It could also be "Gremse", this is also a German name that exists. greeeings, Poulton
Dave Danner Posted May 11, 2012 Author Posted May 11, 2012 Thanks a lot! You're right. Gemeide Schernberg in Bezirk Ebeleben, Schwarzburg-Sondershausen. That completes all the awards of the SEK3 between 1909 and 1918, including a handful of wartime awards without swords to military personnel. Next up is the SEK4.
David M Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 So when and where will you publish this no doubt vast amount of information?
