Hi, my friend just got these, any ideas?

1. unknown cross with letter 2 on ribbon

2. medal with inscription: "yamani 1928" (yemen?)

Windu - your coin may be from Yemen - but not the medal - the numeral is not an Arab one. Can't make out the other details.

the cross is a civilian marching/walking decoration for two participations, may be Belgium.
