drclaw Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 (edited) Rare order in superb condition purportedly available on ebay from our familiar seller from the Ukraine. No Paypal above USD 500. Wire transfer only! So feel free to bid up to $499.95 Interestingly, the seller is also advertising a 2nd Class Chinese Republic Order of the Golden Grain "set" except with mismatching sash badge and the breast star. http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_05_2013/post-11630-0-87806500-1367449013.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_05_2013/post-11630-0-06299400-1367449027.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_05_2013/post-11630-0-95499000-1367449040.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_05_2013/post-11630-0-24366800-1367449052.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_05_2013/post-11630-0-56710600-1367449074.jpg Edited May 5, 2013 by drclaw
JapanX Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Never-ending story: Part 4. http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/56991-2nd-class-order-of-the-auspicious-clouds-complete-set/
JapanX Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 By the way, even 2nd class Golden Grain this mysterious mancio_1990 "may not ship to Russian Federation". Phaleristic racism!

JapanX Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Hey guys, what was the selling price? I missed this epoch-making event
drclaw Posted May 5, 2013 Author Posted May 5, 2013 (edited) Didn't check the selling price but hope the buyer isn't fool enough to wire transfer funds to a bank account in the Ukraine. I've since been reliably informed by one of our excellent GMIC members that the item is located quite happily in China. That Golden Grain set was also sold only a few months ago from a US ebay seller (I'd forgotten that). Same images from the US seller. Smart business enterprise. Think how many dodgy fake Chinese medals you'd need to sell to make that amount of cash Edited May 5, 2013 by drclaw

drclaw Posted May 13, 2013 Author Posted May 13, 2013 If you dangle a line long enough eventually you'll catch a fish ... I'm sure he has a First Class Golden Kite breast star and sash badge too!
JapanX Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 If you dangle a line long enough eventually you'll catch a fish ... Yep. Bidders are all over these two auctions again .... Go figure

JapanX Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Nakata replica ... straight from the WWII P.S. No bidders around this auction. Guess they are all pretty busy with bidding on this set of 2nd clouds
utopis Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Interestingly he has no negative feedback so maybe no one actually pays for those pieces?
JapanX Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 (edited) ... so maybe no one actually pays for those pieces? Either that or this guy pretty soon will be a multimillioner  Edited May 15, 2013 by JapanX
JapanX Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 $1325 for Clouds and $1525 for Grain... Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet deal
drclaw Posted May 15, 2013 Author Posted May 15, 2013 I suspect most of the winning bids might be "friends". It will keep cycling through until someone else wins.
utopis Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Well look at this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/SOVIET-ORDER-of-ALEXANDER-SUVOROV-1ST-CLASS-/281108107858?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4173595252 It seems that this isn't his only account. Same Location and same text "PAYMENT : Accepting PAYPAL (confirmed adress and items under 500,- $ only), for all other items accepting wire transfer ONLY!!! PAYMENT SHOULD BE MADE WITHIN 7 DAYS!!!" Now selling Soviet stuff.
JapanX Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 At least this time he "ships to: worldwide" Hard worker ...
JapanX Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Now selling Soviet stuff Better take a look at this negative feedback for this stellacometa09 "prodotto contraffatto/falso pagato 414,00 euro con postepay....inaffidabilissimo debborinas ( 1 ) May-27-11 20:39 Louis Vuitton Borsa (#280679145834)" Quite diversified seller! "Louis Vuitton" stuff, "soviet" orders, etc ... Prodotto contraffatto
utopis Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Look who's back: http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-WWI-RUSSIAN-14K-PINK-GOLD-AWARD-BADGE-NICHOLAS-II-/141105344408?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20da88af98 1 day left and only $1
JapanX Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Looks like he'll never "ship to Russian Federation". Real tragedy ...
