This famous “medal on pink ribbon” (a.k.a. “medal with the map”).
This curiosity was custom-designed by organization Nihon Gouyuu Renmei (patriotic organization “Friends of the Homeland”) in 1979 to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the end of the Great East Asia War.
