VonLuger
The amount of mint finished PAB's you have Jan has always amazed me jumping Now theory in motion--The wide back pin Jan just showed, ! Now check out the hinge and needle on the maker mark 4, cased EK1 Detlev offered this week....interesting to say the least...Jeff
Jan Arne S
Von Luger !I know about that theory . High Resulution scans of this "wide" pin PAB was sent to Frank H. for 3-4 weeks ago . And I`m open for all theories about the makers of this design PAB . But I beleive that it was more than one maker that used this design Here is a "KWM" Karl Wurster , Markneukirchen made PAB in Silver . It looks like Tombac , But I beleive that it is a zinc PAB with some kind of Copper coating before badge is Silvered . Can they have done this to get a better and longer preserved Silver finish ? Badge is to heavy to be "kupal" and it has no sign to the"sandwich" one sides .Jan Arne Edited May 29, 2005 by Jan Arne S

Chet Sowersby
Gentlemen,The AWS posted in number 74 and 75 deserves futher discussion. IMO, it is a well documented fake. There are many accepted bronze types out there and they are accepted for their unique style of hinge/crimp and finish. This one shows none of what is accepted as good for this maker. VonLuger
How many PAB cut outs do you have now Donalso Jan do you have any cut outs...IMO its ok to show duplicate badges here-with the difference in wear and material ect, you tend to see many varients of the same badge and also I never get tired at looking and comparing PAB's
Jan Arne S
Hi Von Luger !Sorry ! But I dont have any PAB`s with cutout grass area . Only with cutout in swaz .
