TacHel Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 I recently acquired this item "Honoured Submariner of Russia", I've found photos of Russian officers and sailors wearing them on their military uniform (yes, I 'm aware that usually doesn't mean much), but can't find the establishment order. Considering who wears it, from what ribbon it hangs, where it is worn and the significance of the award title, I would be incredibly surprised to discover this was a public award of one dished out by a fleet commander... Can anybody shed some light on the matter?
JapanX Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Progress report. No statute (most likely there is no such thing for this 100% unofficial badge) No name of organization (although friend of mine saw once this badge with doc) Two types of badges Numbered Like this one
TacHel Posted November 2, 2013 Author Posted November 2, 2013 I saw it on the uniform of 2 serving Russian admirals... It's driving me nuts that I can't find those photos again.
Phil2012 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Hello François, I just asked some russian correspondants. I wish I'll get replies soon...
