Spasm Posted January 21, 2014 Share Posted January 21, 2014 David The second one is a modern reproduction of the Fairburn Sykes commando fighting knife. A lovely knife to hold. The scabbard tabs and elastic look too new to be anything else. Here's a good site that has photos of most of the FS style knives available. Gordon Craig Posted January 21, 2014 Share Posted January 21, 2014 David, The first knife appears to resemble a WWII US Navy K-Bar knife. This knife can be found with a leather scabbard or a plastic scabbard. The correct markings are those shown in the pictures below. I am not an expert in these so I hope this helps.
