Chip Posted February 18, 2014 Share Posted February 18, 2014 It looks to be a visored Einheitsmütze, in the style of the M1908 issue Schirmmütze. It appears to be a private purchase piece, considering the silk lining. So, it could be imperial or the Reichswehr army version. From a distance, they look like they could be from the Leib Gren.Rgt.109. The straps from the b.Inf.Leib Regt. had very small crowns and of a particular pattern.
