christerd
This small simple looking medal is probably on of the hardest Swedish medals to find in connection with Finlands liberty war in 1918. Its the medal to the Swedish volunteers in the Swedish Brigade , they where about 560 who entered war service and I suppose awarded medals was about that number to, This one is lacking the ribbon and hanger but they are so scarce that I bought it anyway A small but historic piece to my collection Christer
Claudius
That is an great piece of Swedish history! Are you going to look for a ribbon for it? What does it look like?
Peter J
Nice catch Christer. I used to have the miniature, but did a no-brainer and sold it Finding a replacement ribbon is almost impossible, given the fragile texture of the ribbon, but I wish you all the luck.
