I know that from 15 August they were involved in battle near Saint-Hilaire-le-Grand, but what about the earlier period of August? I am asking as I have a "gedenkblatt" for a pionier (?) from that unit, dated 1 August 1918. By the way, I know that they belonged to 3 Garde Division, but were they somehow independent?
