Turkey Ottoman Military Button?

I just received a lot of 3 WWI military buttons, and I'm wondering if this one is Ottoman.

The Kenyan KIng's African Rifles used to have Arabic numerals on their button for the different Regiments. Mervyn

Thank you Mervyn. Would the KAR have had buttons made in Paris? I know some Ottoman buttons were made by a French firm. I also wonder about the possibility of Algerian or Moroccan troops?

Hello Paul,

I'd say the largest button photo show a button with the number 2 on it, this is off the top of my head but a quick internet check should confirm this (I hope).

So would this be the 2nd Regiment?

Yes, an internet search shows it to be an arabic 2.

Found it! I am so excited to find out that this is a button of the 2nd Imperial Guard Infantry Regiment! (I googled ottoman 2nd regiment button, and clicked images).
