    Hello Gentlemen,

I now have enough insignia for starting a post concerning Order from ethiopia post 1975 and post DERG regime.

Identification is not 100 % sure, so please do consider I do my best.

Here is what is said to be Order of the Revolution of 1966

I got the nack badge long time ago, from a french collector was was able to bring it back.......

The breast star I got it very recently.

Neck badge is 65 millimeters in diameter (weight 107 grammes) & breast star is 67 millimeters in diameter (weight 105 grammes)

I will post pictures of these insignia separately & rear view too.

Others view of the neck badge.

It's a 4 pièces construction badge, as you can see on the side phto.

It is obvious, top red arm has been re-enamel (not by me).

Here is a low class of that same Order, which is said to be Order of the Revolution of 1966.

I bet it's a thrid class badge (said to be lowest of the classes of this award).

    Size : 34 millimeters & weight : 16 grammes.

Reverse is blank, no makers mark.

    Any information is welcome.

There is also this badge , which is another award....maybe Order of Africa or Order of the Red Sea.

    Badge is 35 millimeters.

    Reverse is blank, no makers.

My opinion is that it's better to show what has been founded, and maybe Ilja or others members will bring some more photo.

I have never seen that type of neck ribbon. My copy is pictured below. Purchased in Addis in 2010. I was told it was called the "Hero of Socialist Ethiopia".
