    looks like a wartime made sword has the kokura arsenal mark 1936 1945 (Tokyo) machine made there are some pretty good copies coming out of china these days best to get an expert look at it first

    OLD THREAD UPDATE

     

    This is at Type 95 Japanese NCO gunto.  Made for the Nagoya Army Arsenal (center stamp), with final inspection by the Kokura Army Arsenal (right stamp).  The left stamp, Gifu, is an unknown forge, but we think it was the later stamp of the Seki Token Co., Ltd.
