Jock Auld Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Guys, I like enamel signs, what can I say? An enamel sign (original), they even copy this sort of thing now, the buggers. From Sunday! Jock
Bernhard H.Holst Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Hello Jock. My very first inclination was : "WHAT?" but then like you said they fake every item which brings in money. Bernhard H. Holst
Mervyn Mitton Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Jock - enamel signs are big business in the US. I've never quite understood the interest - they take-up so much space. Obviously German - but from what period ? This is a new subject for us - do any other members have collections of signs ? Mervyn
Stuka f Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Ain't got any enamel at the moment, got some painted on glass and decal on glass;

Mervyn Mitton Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I can just see you in 30 years time - you'll be one of those 'hoarders' who has to crawl through the collection to get to the kitchen. Then all the neighbours will help to throw it all away and 're-habilitate' you. Never mind, I think we are all a little guilty of this vice of collecting. Mervyn
