Hello Gents,

 

today I want to show you a present that Oberbootsmannsmaat Bernhard Steinmann

 

from Luftschiff L4 got for his " successful " paticipation in bombing Kings Lynn

 

on January 19th 1915.

 

It is a cigar - case stamped with Kings Lynn and 19.1.1915 plus mounted

 

Iron Cross mini from 1914.

That's a nice historical item.  How did you know it belonged to Steinmann?  Is there additional documentation or did you get it direct from the family?

 

I got the whole estate at the intercession of a friend from the granddaughter. It contains the medal bar,

 

award documents, life career written by the daughter and few fotos.
