Claudio Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Dear forumites, I wanted to present to you a small and simple medal bar, but with a quite uncommon combination of awards. You don't see so often the cross of honor for widows and parent's of the fallen soldier on a medal. Please feel free to show yours. ciao,Claudio
Claudio Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 A Badener one... ' alt='' class='ipsImage' width="1000px" height="549px">"> ' alt='' class='ipsImage' width="1000px" height="549px">
Chris Boonzaier Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Very nice... I have a thing for bars that are all crosses and no round medals....
Uffz. Rohleder Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Its not a full size medal bar but its maybe a very interesting one Greetings Stefan
ixhs Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Cool bar. Rollo rules. Gruss from Hauptwachtmeister Schulz (08/15)
Paul R Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Amazing bars. I have not seen this medal mounted before. I really like the Widow's Cross/Mother's Cross combo.
ixhs Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 (edited) What do we have here..Some kind of selfmade non combatant medal bar. The lipper cross and the IC were missing, so i replaced them, notin the best condition but living history.I always like the Wuerttemberg Charlotte cross very much! Edited May 19, 2015 by ixhs
turtle Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 (edited) Beautiful hessian bar, I guess from the award combination, that the owner was a police officer?! Edited May 27, 2015 by turtle
Komtur Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 I am quite sure to have shown this one before - but it also fits in this thread well.

Chris Boonzaier Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 I am quite sure to have shown this one before - but it also fits in this thread well. Hi, a silly question, but should this one not have a Normal cross AND the Angehöriger one?BestChris
speedytop Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 No, he could only get one cross. When he wanted to have a cross (he had to apply for it), he must decide: the cross for his own military service, or a cross for his fallen son/s (Elternkreuz)."Die Verleihung mehrerer Ehrenkreuze an ein und die selbe Person ist unzulässig."Uwe
Chris Boonzaier Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Thats interesting, I missed that. For some reason I had thought I had seen a bar with the fathers cross and the angehörige as well
redeagleorder Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Thats interesting, I missed that. For some reason I had thought I had seen a bar with the fathers cross and the angehörige as wellA few bars do exist with more than one cross on them. Although not official, I imagine it wasn't hard for a determined person to get hold of the one they didn't apply for with millions of them floating around.
