Chris Boonzaier Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 I just picked up this plate... I must admit it is a first!! A plate instead of a bear mug!Can anyone help with the name? I thought Rengenfelder, but that does not seen to exist.... He entered the war with the 6th bavarian Reserve regt and was wounded in October 1914, never made it back to the front...
speedytop Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Chris, his name is Leonh[ard] LengenfelderUwe

Chris Boonzaier Posted August 28, 2015 Author Posted August 28, 2015 Hi, thanks, the regt suffered quite heavily early in the war!
speedytop Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 There had been so many different "Reservistika": pipes, glas and porcelain jugs, beer glasware, bottles, cups, plates, pictures (Reservistenbilder) etc.I have seen some plates, but this is a very nice example.Uwe
Chip Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Chris,I have never seen one of these before either! Very nice indeed.Chip
