Iron Cross Diamonds : The collar tabs were normally . made of a piece of cardboard covered with felt or wool cloth , the braid was made of silver or gold kantille , and thread . the kantille is the thicker part , normally the design is cutout of paper , glued over the cloth and then hand braided over .

My pleasure , Take a look to the site The Marshalls Baton . the site is dedicated to the third reich era Generals uniforms and insignia . but the part about the generals collar tabs could be useful

Dear Bayern:

I found that website The Marshalls Baton sometime ago; however, I do appreciate you telling me about it.  I found the section about the East German general collar tabs very interesting.  I thought that cornfield blue German Coast Artillery General Collar tab would have been better on the Luftwaffe General uniform.  In addition, I seem to like the German Admiral Navy Blue uniform much better when it had the admiral shoulder boards on it.  The same thing for the Royal Navy Admirals when they have a gold admiral shoulder board place on the right shoulder of their navy blue uniform complete with aiguillettes.

Very nice display. I've never seen the General u. Flügal Adjutant or the Adjutant for a Royal Prince.

If anyone has photos of these in use I certainly would be thrilled to see them.

I saw a picture on ebay, I bid for it, but it was withdrawn from the auction, and unfortunately I did not download the photo.

here is a photo with better quality

Hello,
Today I wanted to show these neck patches, which belong to a bluse of King Ferdinand of Bulgaria.
A merchant offered it to me and it was in my hands, but a superior bid did not keep me.

As I already told you, a great piece.
I'm very happy, that it was finally for your collection, that I admire.
