That's a great little book! It took me a while to wander through Herr Rosenthals' war career.  Did you look him up in the BDJKV data base?

I don't know what that is, I don't really collect the first war stuff, I only take it if it looks interesting, is cheap or is part of a job lot.  This was cheap and thrown in on a deal.  Glad it is of interest.  The only thing I noted was he got EK2 didn't see anything else?

Well, not really, but I am very surprised he is a Catholic and not Jewish.

Kind of an interesting for its pedestrianness, " all over the place, but nothing unusual: been there, did it" war for this guy. I got briefly excited by the demob. stamps as I misread it as " Party Comrades...btln. unit", but then retead it and realized my error.
