Guest pikemedals Posted April 5, 2006 Share Posted April 5, 2006 i just got a 1915 star off ebay named to no1255 nk sher 1/56th rifles.just check him out on cwgc site. to find out he died on the 20 march 1919.he been commemorated on delhi memorial [india gate] so no grave for him.was the 1/56th fighting somewhere in india. i though he was a bit too early for the third afghan war.can any one help me please i think ed haynes is my man on this one.thanks paul Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Would guess he died from influenza.Will also see if the 56th is low on Delhi Gate and try to snap a photo of his entry this summer.
