David68 Posted August 8, 2018 Share Posted August 8, 2018 (edited) I brought a nice Metropolitan Police helmet from around the 50/60s from a dealer and have now just paid for the matching dress tunic (with the high collar) which belonged to the same officer who served in the West Ham area. I was keen to pick up both items so as not to spilt them. i'm happy with the price I paid and I'm not looking to make a quick buck from them as they are going to be given pride of place next to my own tunic and helmet in my collection. It did get me thinking though. What is the rough price for one of these tunics now as I don't really have a clue. As I say, I'm happy with the price I paid but would be very interested to know your thoughts on prices if only for insurance reasons.
