Unknown Officer and Sailor - Serbian? WW1?

    Recommended Posts

You could be correct.  The army uniform certainly looks Serbian and so does the naval one.  Here is a picture of Serbian sailors of the River Flotilla on the monitor Bodrog.  Unfortunately, this is the best uniform picture that I can find.  I am unable to translate the cap tally for you.

    Regards,

    Gordon

These are Kingdom Yugoslavia sailor and soldier(officer???). Cap tally says "Torpiljarka T6" which means "Torpedo boat T6". Torpedo boat T6 is ex Austro-hungarian Tb 93F. It even served in Italian navy during ww2 but crew sank it after capitulation 1943.

If you are not interested in this photo I would gladly buy it or trade something cause I am collecting Kingdom Yugoslavia navy photos.

This is photo of SMS Bodrog and Austro-Hungarian sailors. SMS Bodrog later became Yugoslav monitor Sava.
