ixhs
Hi again, I got some post cards and the shown is one of it . What do we know about the recipient / shown officer? -Oberleutnant (1st Lt.) -Bavarian His bar shows: -IC, bavarian MVK 3rd class with X and crown, Hindycross and 2 Wehrmacht LSM. (4 & 12 years) So the pic must have been taken in 1936 - 39 (no war merit medals like IC or WMC) In WW1 he served as an NCO (Unteroffizier/Vizefeldwebel) In his button it seems that he´s wearing a blood order for the photography - ( because of the ribbon definitely no bavarian bravery medal.) The card was signed. I can read Aicher oder Licher - what do you think? zähringer4.tif zähringer4.tif Edited November 9, 2018 by ixhs
