oamotme Posted November 14, 2018 Share Posted November 14, 2018 Nick, The case lid and medal obverse reads, "Al Harass Al Maliki" (The Royal Guard) The top of the obverse is the Saudi flag , "La ila il allah mohammed rasool allah" (There is no god but Allah - Mohamed is his messenger) The lower half of the reverse image - a stuck on plate, "Ihda'a min Ri'aassah Al Harass Al Maliki" ("A Gift from the Royal Guard Headquarters). oamotme Posted November 26, 2018 Share Posted November 26, 2018 Nick, I suspect it is a hand out for visitors as a souvenir. Nice quality base metal but somewhat spoiled by the 'stick on' plate.
