Daffy Duck Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 This order is in my collection almost two decades, and I have found it in France. I have checked all Russian Orthodox Church orders and medals and somehow I couldn’t find it. Knowing russian language a bit, I can be quite sure that this is Russian language (not Ukrainian or Belorussian). Can anyone help me and explain me the nature of this order? Many thanks in advance.
nickstrenk Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 For faith, dilligence and works Present award for Cossacs http://cossac-awards.narod.ru/Znaki_bez_voisk_files/Vera_Userdie_Trudy.html
Daffy Duck Posted December 20, 2018 Author Posted December 20, 2018 Many thanks. I know nothing about their decorations. I thought that’s a church award.
paul wood Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 The article does not appear to give any categorical raison d' etre. I suspect there may be some religious element in the award. Paul
