EK2 identification request

Hi all, just a quick manufacture identification request, the ring looks like it's stamped with either "WG" or "we", any ideas?

 

all help appreciated

I would say it is a WS - Wagner & Sohn piece.

Hi Tomasz, it does look more like "We" now that I've managed a closer look.

Interestingly, maybe I should check my own comments, thread here

 

My "We" and another "We" both different, did Werner make them or just distribute them?

Yes, there were two different Werner crosses, one with We on the small loop, another one with We on the big ring. The Werner crosses have also different cores. Both are descirbed in the book by Fran Wernitz, as T155 and T156.

Many EK manuctarures have used different cores and different markings, too.
