Hi Darrell,

At this point I'd have to assume so... either R.S. or R.S.& S. or even R.S.S.... I just can't remember for sure. I even went back through my notes on it on here but I didn't mention it. I can only think there must have been an additional pic that I can't find, or most likely it was just discussed over the phone.

And believe me, when I did the edit to put the pic up I saw that and thought "Darn, can't see the full maker mark." The pics were originally on Kim's Mac posting site but she switched from that and loaded them all back on her computer. I found everything else but could not find any more for this badge. Believe me, I pulled out all the stops.

Hope this isn't crucial?

Hi Dan,

This is a good one. Took me a while to find a match, these don't come around very often. The Maker Mark is in fact R.S.S.

This stands for Richard Simm & Sohn

It's a textbook example. Tucker's book has one on page 357.

I'd say this is one that you don't find very often.
