Russian China Commemorative Medal Boxer uprising

Recommended Posts

Gents,

Does anybody know the award criteria of the Russian China Commemorative Medal for the so-called Boxer Uprising 1900? I understand, that there are two versions- silver (for combatants) and bronze for non-combatants.

Background is attached (German) medal bar- the German China Commemorative Medal is for combatants, while the Russian version is for Non-combatants- how does this accompany?

BR,

Chris

Chris, bronze version wasn't issued exclusively for combtants.

Take care,

Nick

Light bronze -

Original regulation.

…for persons, who didn’t anticipate in any battles and for persons, who stayed in area, declared as war area- right?

Russian bronze.

For those who did not participate in the battles, as well as for those who were in areas where martial law was declared.

German bronze.

For all participant of war in East Asia.

So both bronze medals perfectly fit this medal bar.
