Bavarian mounting....

If I was to mount a single Bavarian wartime medal for display...... what would the best way to mount it be?

Exactly. Chris, I have some original Bavarian Bravery Medal ribbon from an old military effects shop that is already sewn into that fitted shape, peeled off some bar that was being remounted and saved by the thrifty shopkeeper:

Alas and alack, somebody thought it was dingy and washed it in modern detergent or the like, so that it now glows bright electric blue under a blacklight.

All it needs is a bit of stiffener in back and you'll have a ready made display that

a) won't require slicing and dicing "real" ribbon and

b) cannot ever be mistaken for "real" ribbon again

(although it IS real... just blacklight "ruined")
