rare Serbian Chetnik dagger

Recommended Posts

I have two very rare Chetnik daggers and a hand-carved Chetnik tobacco snuffbox, a snuffbox and one dagger were owned by the commander of the second battalion of the First Ljubostinja Brigade, the commander's name is Milan Radivojevic Crni, the other dagger is unknown who wore it. I am interested in your opinion on the value of these artifacts , On the snuffbox on the inside there is a picture and the signature of the commander, on the back of the snuffbox the 2nd battalion of the First Ljubostin Brigade is hand-engraved, the name and surname are also hand-engraved on the dagger from the commander . Milan Radivojević Crni was born in Grabovac near Trstenik in 1909. He died in 1994, his grandchildren submitted a request for rehabilitation and he was rehabilitated in 2016.

https://www.novosti.rs/vesti/naslovna/drustvo/aktuelno.290.html:623540-REHABILITOVAN-CETNICKI-KOMANDANT-Deca-Crnog-docekala-pravdu       - My brother from aunt Hadži Miloš Stefanović submitted a request for rehabilitation on behalf of the whole family on June 3, 2014, and after two years that request was adopted - Milan's grandson Dragan Radivojević, who still lives in the family house, testified for "Novosti" in Grabovac. - My grandfather, whose nickname was Black, was arrested in 1945. He did not resist arrest, he was caught on the bridge while smoking. Radivojevic was accused of allegedly forcibly mobilizing people to fight NOB participants, and the minutes of the interrogation and the final impression, as stated in the verdict, show that, among other things, he admitted that he had beaten many people. and women. - They wrote that he admitted guilt, and there were people ready to testify in his favor - Radivojevic's grandson Dragan tells us. - In Kruševac, he was initially sentenced to death, then to 18 years, then to eight years, and, finally, to two years and eight months.

    • Sounds great other than the Orange & Mango squash only because I prefer cran-pomegranate juice.
    • "(...) disgusting herbal concoction (...)" I took note of this description, to enrich my otherwise limited, English "Wortschatz"...
    • At work the standard indian tea such as PG tips is referred to as chimp tea. This goes back to the days when we had a Spanish girl working for us whose command of the English language was extremely limited. One lunch she said she was going to the shop could she get anything. I asked if she could get a pack of tea bags. She returned with some disgusting herbal concoction. I tried to explain what was required but without success. I then remembered PG tips had a picture of a chimpanzee on the packe
    • When I read Lapsang Souchong i decided to post something about these Tea . Many years ago I dont  know about Lapsang until I read James Michener book Centennial and the description of the savour of the Lapasang as a mix of tar and salt & smoked made me proof . It was exact ! and i liked it since then .
    • I have been known to drink Lapsang Souchong and Tea, Earl Grey, Hot... both "without pollutants". I normally have one mug of coffee in the morning, then spend the rest of the day drinking Orange & Mango squash (by the pint). Then evening comes and it's a pint, followed by red wine with dinner and sometimes a drop of Laphroaig afterwards.
