Beautiful, thank you ... this is the first time I can see him with the "Gedenkzeichen für die Königlichen Prinzen, Generaladjutanten und Flügeladjutanten von Kaiser Wilhelm II."!!! ... oh, I can now see he received the swords to his RAO2 with Eichenlaub ... great! Do you happen to know, if he received the HOH?

    No HOH for Manfred.

So he is one of the rare Prussians who got the Iron Cross, the Pour Le Merite but not the HoH? seems a bit weird, you usually see that more with non-Prussians like Erwin Rommel.

    Kind regards, Laurentius

    Not in the Generals ranks.

The Hohenzollern knight was the semi official pre pour le merite award up to LtCol.

The higher grades of the Hohenzollern for Generals are quite exclusive.

They did get Red Eagles and Crwon Orders with swords.

    Best,

    Daniel
