Jurgen Fritz Posted January 9, 2022 Share Posted January 9, 2022 (edited) PS : I joined the Bundeswehr in January 1962 as Zeit soldat we were allowed to use private Leatherbelts as "Unterfuehrer" NCOS, since the forst Issue Textilbelts (worn in the Trousers) were awful! Also Private Boots could be worn & The Company Coppler added Heel Irons for a small Fee. In ~1963 we got the new LeatherKoppel (Belt) what looked similar to the Old Reichswehr Koppel. Some Soldiers came from the BGS Bundesgrenzschutz who perhaps just kept their doubleclaw Belts?
