WW1 Ek1 identification help appreciated

Hallo to all, 

I just got this Ek1 from the flea market and wonder if it is a wartime "original" or a later copy. It is slightly curved and measures 43x43mm. There are no visible markings, it is not magnetic and appears to be silvered copper alloy(?). 

 

Any help on this is appreciated, it is part of my private collection. If it is a fake please let me know as it doesn't matter, it was not expensive and I bought it because I like the looks of it ?

I concur.  A recent fake at that. Ebay is loaded with them.

Thanks for your input VtwinVince and dond! So I "lost" 10 Euros but as I wrote I was very sure that it might be a fake and will keep it as a reference. ?

I think this post has its reason of existence anyway as a source of comparison for other collectors.

Thanks for posting ArHo, as you say useful images for comparison purposes. As fakes go, that 1914 is bordering on caricature but for EU10 so what?

Yes It is a recent fake. If you paid 10 Euro you already new that is a fake. But 10 Euro is worth the risk

It is  also good for display
