fatmanupnorth
I am new to militaria and I recently bought a medal which I believe is a genuine Spanish Honour Cross, Next of Kin award. It is roughly 41mm across and weighs around 12gm. Is this the norm?? All the photos I am seeing online, show the small swastikas as a solid from behind, whereas mine has cut outs. Is this something I should be worried about? If it is real, are these saleable? I am having trouble uploading photos, so I have added more on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/195277027@N08/albums/72177720300064669 Hopefully someone can help me with this..... Thank You Fatman.
Matthew Macleod
Both original types (solid and cut-out swastikas) exist. Personally I see nothing wrong with your cross- looks like a nice, original piece, IMO.
