Bored? I just about fell off my chair here. I'm guessing that Russian PLM as Napoleonic era? And I think our friend Rudy would like to see these Helms.

I even thought you went to a museum but looking at the photos it was even better than the museum.😵 Please let us know when this gentleman opens one. Could you please also post more medalbars if you have taken pictures of them?

I believe this is a Bavarian Hubert Order

No, it's Bavarian allright, but the St. Hubertus Kleinood is the one shown two posts up (in the version with Brillianten, and correctly ID-ed by member 91-old-inf-reg. ). This is a Verdienstorden der bayerische Krone.

Fantastic pieces, many thanks for sharing.

    Kind regards,

Another PLM! I will say this. There’s no substitute for handling and examining original pieces. Once you’ve done this you’ll never mistake a copy again. The craftsmanship and gold work on these was incredible. The details, especially the eagles was simply amazing!

Saxon Merit Order Breast Star. My friend has had some negative feedback on this piece. It looked and felt right to me. Any feedback would be appreciated

More outstanding material. I like the looks of that VOmS breast star, and I would be quite interested to know the weight of that St. Henry Medal to compare with my 1870 example.
