VtwinVince Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Bored? I just about fell off my chair here. I'm guessing that Russian PLM as Napoleonic era? And I think our friend Rudy would like to see these Helms.

Stogieman Posted October 25, 2023 Author Posted October 25, 2023 I believe this is a Bavarian Hubert Order 1
Tommy Chen Posted October 26, 2023 Posted October 26, 2023 I even thought you went to a museum but looking at the photos it was even better than the museum.😵 Please let us know when this gentleman opens one. Could you please also post more medalbars if you have taken pictures of them?

This is a Verdienstorden der bayerische Krone. Fantastic pieces, many thanks for sharing. Kind regards, Sandro Edited October 26, 2023 by GdC26 1

Stogieman Posted October 26, 2023 Author Posted October 26, 2023 (edited) PLM with Crown Edited October 26, 2023 by Stogieman
Stogieman Posted October 27, 2023 Author Posted October 27, 2023 Another PLM! I will say this. There’s no substitute for handling and examining original pieces. Once you’ve done this you’ll never mistake a copy again. The craftsmanship and gold work on these was incredible. The details, especially the eagles was simply amazing! 1
Stogieman Posted October 27, 2023 Author Posted October 27, 2023 And now, for the pieces I really liked as Saxony is my passion! Early Albert’s Cross with Enameled Medallions!
Stogieman Posted October 27, 2023 Author Posted October 27, 2023 Saxon Merit Order Breast Star. My friend has had some negative feedback on this piece. It looked and felt right to me. Any feedback would be appreciated
VtwinVince Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 More outstanding material. I like the looks of that VOmS breast star, and I would be quite interested to know the weight of that St. Henry Medal to compare with my 1870 example.
Stogieman Posted October 27, 2023 Author Posted October 27, 2023 Commander’s Cross, Saxon Merit Order

Will ask him to please get us a weight on that one
Stogieman Posted October 27, 2023 Author Posted October 27, 2023 And last but certainly not least, The Holy Grail for me! Saxon St. Henry Knight’s Cross circa 1815-1870. 2
