aubagne98 Posted November 16 Posted November 16 Hi, do the British have a commemorative medal for the 1914 Falkland naval battle? Thanks Michael
Megan Posted Sunday at 09:06 Posted Sunday at 09:06 Not an official one, no. The UK had originally intended to issue bars to the British War Medal for various actions but changed their minds and didn't - probably for cost reasons.
aubagne98 Posted Monday at 22:43 Author Posted Monday at 22:43 Thanks. I know the 1914 Star has a bar, but it doesn´t include that battle.
Megan Posted Tuesday at 09:59 Posted Tuesday at 09:59 Just the so-called 'Old Contemptible' bar for those who were involved from the onset... like my grandfather! 1
