GODISHIGH Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Hello, I'm interested in this piece. Do yall see any issues with authenticity concerning this Albert Order? Thanks John
Stogieman Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Well, Good Morning! It looks okay but unfortunately this Order is now being heavily faked with excellent copies flooding the market in both the US and Germany. Personally, I wouldn’t touch an Albert Order these days. The copies are that good. It’s killing the hobby. Unless this is coming from a known and respected source I’d advise extreme caution.
VtwinVince Posted Wednesday at 15:49 Posted Wednesday at 15:49 It looks like a good WW1 period piece, but Rick is right, use extreme paranoia these days.
medalnet Posted Sunday at 14:47 Posted Sunday at 14:47 The new fakes are not that good. They can be spottet easily. Too thick and as usual not the right design details. You piece is a very nice WWI cross. The S mark indicates that it has gilded silver features. The medallion and the swords.
