  1. Great, thank-you for the additional information Mike! Mary
  2. Thank-you Mike! Probably why I couldn't find one like this, lol. Would this have been Canadian? Does this mean the bar isn't original to the cross? I forgot the size in the original post - it is small, 3/4"W x 1 1/4"L including the bar. So glad to have a forum like this! thanks Mary
  3. Hi, I have what I think is a memorial cross but not sure if would be Canadian or British. No name on the back, little bit of ribbon still attached. In searching I've found many with the maple leaf but none with the Kings Crown on all four points of the cross. Any information appreciated. Mary

    GRQ Montreal 1927 Medal Help

Thank-you for the welcome and information Jean-Paul, that looks like mine! Mary
  5. Hi, I'm trying to figure out this piece. Comes in a Birks case, no idea if this would be original to the piece. The medal is two pieces with a hinge and clasp, one is a British penny from 1897, the other has a shield attached in the centre engraved with E. McL HTWSSTKS. Inside is engraved E. McLeod Montreal Chapter No 7 GRQ Oct 20 1927. Would this have been a presentation piece? Any information is appreciated. I've never posted here before so I hope I'm doing this right. Mary
